Code of Conduct

 

  1. Professionalism: DCM Recruitment expects all staff members, including supply teachers, teaching assistants, and other school personnel, to maintain a high level of professionalism in their conduct, interactions, and representation of DCM Recruitment and the educational institutions they serve.

  2. Adherence to Policies: Staff members are required to adhere to all policies, guidelines, and procedures set forth by DCM Recruitment, as well as those of the schools or educational institutions where they are placed. This includes but is not limited to policies related to behavior management, safeguarding, confidentiality, and health and safety.

  3. Reliability and Availability: Staff members must fulfill their commitments to assignments promptly and reliably. They are expected to communicate promptly with DCM Recruitment regarding availability, assignment details, feedback, and any issues or concerns that may arise during placements.

  4. Professional Development: DCM Recruitment encourages ongoing professional development for all staff members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and effectiveness in their roles. This may include attending relevant training sessions, workshops, or seeking additional qualifications.

  5. Communication: Clear and effective communication is essential. Staff members must communicate professionally with DCM Recruitment, schools, colleagues, students, and other stakeholders, ensuring that information is conveyed accurately and promptly.

  6. Respect and Inclusivity: DCM Recruitment expects all staff members to demonstrate respect, inclusivity, and sensitivity towards students, colleagues, and the diverse communities they serve. Discriminatory behavior or language will not be tolerated.

  7. Confidentiality: Staff members are required to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information obtained during assignments, including student records, personal data, and any proprietary information related to schools or educational institutions.

  8. Safety and Well-being: The safety and well-being of students and staff are paramount. Staff members must prioritize the safety, welfare, and positive learning environment of all students and colleagues under their care, promptly reporting any safeguarding concerns or incidents.

  9. Professional Conduct Outside Assignments: Staff members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that upholds the reputation of DCM Recruitment, both during assignments and in their personal conduct outside of work.

  10. Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Staff members must comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards governing education, employment, and child welfare.

  11. By accepting assignments from DCM Recruitment, staff members acknowledge their commitment to abide by this Code of Conduct and understand that failure to do so may result in disciplinary action, termination of assignments, or removal from DCM Recruitment's roster.
